Privacy policy
This policy explains how EventProof processes information when you use this website and its public storefront checker. EventProof is an independent project and is not affiliated with OpenAI or Shopify.
Information we process
- Scan input: the public URL you submit and the public HTML, response headers, redirect locations, and robots.txt needed to create a result.
- Operational data: Cloudflare may process IP address, user agent, timing, and security logs to deliver and protect the service.
- Optional analytics: Firebase Analytics loads only after you select Allow. Analytics events do not intentionally include the scanned URL, email address, query string, or scan evidence.
- Support: if you email us, we process your email address and message to answer you.
- Payments: when paid checkout is enabled, Waffo Pancake processes checkout and payment details. EventProof receives transaction status and limited billing metadata needed to provide the plan and support refunds.
How we use information
We use information to return requested scans, secure and troubleshoot the service, understand aggregate feature use with consent, respond to support, and administer paid access when enabled.
Storage and retention
The free scanner does not intentionally persist submitted store URLs in the application database. Platform security logs may be retained by Cloudflare under its policies. Support emails are kept while needed to resolve the request and maintain reasonable business records. Payment records are kept as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
Service providers and transfers
Cloudflare hosts the website and API. Google Firebase provides optional analytics. Waffo Pancake provides hosted checkout when enabled. Your data may be processed where these providers operate, subject to their terms and safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can decline analytics in the banner. To change a saved choice, clear this site's local storage and reload. Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data, or object to certain processing.
Security and children
We use reasonable technical safeguards but no internet service is perfectly secure. The service is intended for business users aged 18 or older and is not directed to children.
