Terms of service

By using EventProof, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any business whose systems you connect.

The service

EventProof provides informational diagnostics and implementation guidance for advertising conversion measurement. Public scans inspect only resources available without authentication. Results are point-in-time observations, not a guarantee that conversion delivery, attribution, ad performance, legal compliance, or platform approval will occur.

Acceptable use

You may scan a public website when you own it, operate it, or have a legitimate reason to review its public configuration. You may not use EventProof to probe private networks, bypass access controls, disrupt a service, submit secrets or personal customer URLs, automate abusive request volumes, or violate another party's rights.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for platform credentials, consent configuration, privacy notices, campaign settings, event accuracy, tax treatment, and compliance with Shopify, OpenAI, advertising, and data-protection rules that apply to you. Review results before changing production tracking.

Third-party services

Cloudflare, Firebase, Waffo Pancake, Shopify, and OpenAI are governed by their own terms. EventProof is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or Shopify. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Availability and changes

The service may change, be limited, or be discontinued. We may update these terms by publishing a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practical.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties. EventProof is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for decisions based on a diagnostic result. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid EventProof in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

We may restrict access for abuse, security risk, nonpayment, or violation of these terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
